Before doing anything, Joe listened to my entire album and articulated his thoughts; and I felt like “yes, he understands it.” And from that point the experience with 2Track Mastering felt like a collaboration. Not terribly surprised to hear the cohesive polish (wonderful). But I smiled big for the clarity enhancements to mid-frequency parts, and then again, when I heard how subtle treatment can give violin and guitar solos more presence without changing the intended sonic character.
